I am writing this letter to express my gratitude to the NFS for generously supporting my attendance at the American Association of Pharmaceutical Scientists (AAPS) “PharmSci 360” conference – October 2023 in Orlando, USA. This opportunity allowed me to represent Oslo Metropolitan University and showcase my research work at one of the largest pharmaceutical conferences globally. The NFS funding played a pivotal role in making my participation possible by covering essential expenses such as travel, accommodation and conference registration fees. The conference provided a valuable chance for networking with fellow researchers, attending insightful lectures, and engaging in discussions on diverse pharmaceutical topics. It was a unique chance to start collaborations, exchange ideas, and explore potential opportunities within the pharmaceutical research community.

During the conference, I had the privilege to present a digital poster explaining my research project, the methodology used and results. This experience not only allowed me to share my work but also provided a platform to connect with researchers working on similar topics, expanding my professional network. Moreover, the conference offered career development sessions, where I had the opportunity to interact with senior researchers in academia and industry. I got valuable insights on the different career paths and also offered practical tips on to writing my CV and present myself effectively.

Finally, I want to thank NFS for making this valuable experience possible, which has contributed to my academic and scientific growth. I am truly grateful for the opportunities it has opened for me.
